Kim is a 15 year old sophomore in high school who started playing games in 7th grade. She loves RPGs, the occasional fighter, and enjoys killing herself horribly on DDR. Outside of the gaming scene, she likes to read, draw, do various sports, watch anime, and glomp FOR GREAT JUSTICE. Kim can be described as small and very hyper. A dangerous combination, I must say.

This is version one featuring Lucia from Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. Font used is Redensek, and there's a random grunge brush which I will credit once I remember where I got it.

More .hack goodness. Mmm. Well, the game itself is rather easy, tedious, and repetitive, but I like the characters! And the story! And oh dear goodness, the voice actors. XD I'm pretty sure I recognized Kite's dub voice off the bat. Must tell you, I love her boy voices. XD I always get that Izzy feel, and must tell you, I *wub* Izzy. Thank goodness he hung around a bunch in 02. XD

KNEW IT! Kite = Mona Marshall. Her voice is kinda hard to miss. XD She did a BUNCH of Digimon voices, along with Rayearth, and OMG SHE DID MUSASHI!!! Must ... find ... game! I was already going to play it because Ted-niichan keeps saying it's so great, but MONA MARSHALL DOES MUSASHI'S VOICE!!! *falls over* Sugoooooi ...

Black Rose - Wendee Lee. Sweeeet. Faye Valentine, Yahiko Myoujin, Kiyone ... This woman does EVERYTHING. XD I've been mainly listening to the Japanese voiceover, but this dub's so sweet so far ... Might switch over. Lessee, what else ...

Mistral - Sandy Fox. Eh, she's okay. Very good for the ditsy types in my opinion. XD Sang the first, and one of the few, Kenshin dub openings. All the Rayearth openings too. She plays A-20 in the .hack//SIGN, too. So perky!

Elk - Brianne Siddal. I KNEW I RECOGNIZED THAT VOICE! Jim Hawkings from the Outlaw Star dub, along with Tommy from Digimon Frontier. Gotta love the rotation of Bandai voice actors. =^_^=;; AND TAKATO FROM TAMERS!

I could almost swear that Onasaka Masaya did Piros's voice in the japanese dub. o(><)o i have no proof though! He did Vash from Trigun and Icchan from AL.

*chokes* Yuna's NA voice actress has done nothing but Disney Saturday morning toons. "Pepper Ann" and "The Weekenders", anyone? *continues to laugh until she turns a nice shade of blue to match the layout."

Gotta wub the Bandai dub.

So on Sunday, I got .hack//infection. It's pretty good so far, storywise. The battle system is realtime, and reminds me a lot of Zelda. Just go in, hit and slash .. there's not much strategy involved. *shrug* Though GRAAAH. I just got through Mia's dungeon, only to be killed by the friggin boss! YOU CAN'T SAVE BEFORE BOSSES!!! *agonizes* I got frustrated and gave up for the day. =^_^=;; The dungeon is beatable, but that boss was just annoying. It saps a good 75% of my HP in one move. *grumbles*

Poor Grandia 2. Neglected. I'm still on the Garlan Village high. XD (Village of JUSTICE!)

Hmm ... thinking about making a Ryudo shrine. Since I remember it pretty freshly right now, I should write down the history.

This makes me /sick/. RPGamer's RPGamer Awards have Kingdom Hearts basically sweeping the board. It's a cute game, but is it really THAT good? *twitch twitch* I dunno, it's just the unholy union of Disney and Square that irks me ... though that's not a real reason to hate it, is it? Everything was really cute, the music was eh, but really, the controls annoyed me. I mean, I had to select 'examine' from a menu to open a treasure chest. Frustrating. I liked Ocarina of Time better as an RPG/Action game, but Kingdom Hearts is only okay.

I'm glad Suikoden was right on KH's tail, though. =^_^= I dunno why, since I've never played the game. I do want to play all of them though. =*-*=

... Ryudo is just the coolest hero ever. XD I can't wait until Deadlove.org gets the Ryudo shrine up. They made the Kidd shrine, and it's gorgeous. I also <3 her FFX stuff. She's so cool ... I want to webdesign like her someday.

I feel vaguely bad. =^-^=;; I started on Grandia 2 before finishing Xenogears. But Ryudo's so coooool~! And Fei's noooooot~! I'm on disc 2 of Xenogears, and it is boring as hell. *rolls eyes* There's only so much I can take of random boss battles and swinging pendants! Blaaaarg!

Hmm ... "Jumper" by Third Eye Blind came on Z104 again. Everytime I hear that song, I automatically think Kidd. =^-^=;; I used it for one of my blog layouts that featured Kidd, so that may be part of it.

Kidd dwells on her past like anything. Her whole adolescent life is geared towards revenge against Lynx, and it often blinds her. She keeps her past secret and doesn't talk about it much, even to Serge. It's not until she's unconscious and he uses the Masamune to rescue her child self. "You're the first to fight. You're way too loud." That's Kiddo-chan alright. =^-^= It really confused me though when Kidd tried to use the Frozen Flame to bring down the rest of the world and herself. Before that, she was just nearly killed by Lynx and manipulated to try to kill Serge ... and I don't think she even realized this when she woke up. Or did she?

Forgotten Flame relayouted. I love that site. =^-^= It's one of the most comprehensive Kidd sites out there, and by far, the best designed. *blinks* Actually, it seems to be the only working one at the moment, too. *sighs* I want to make a Koganei site like that someday ... If none of the guys can explain the Kidd thing to me, maybe I'll email the webmistress ...

Mm. I got Wild Arms 3 today. I'm determined not to play it until I finish Xenogears, which won't be too long. I'm in Solaris right now, and I probably have 10-20 hours left in the game. Disc 2 is nothing but pendants swinging, random bosses, and that cave you have to get the Trader's Card in from what I hear. *nods* And since tomorrow's my birthday, I'll be getting the PS2 then ... NICE. XDXDXD

Plan for today is to play as much Xenogears as possible while relatives come over. *nods* I shall finish off Babel Tower today! Gaah, my levels are really bugging me. Current party is Fei at level 46, Bart at level 45, Billy at level 44. Billy just refuses to level up for some odd reason! baaaah! And in one gear battle, Rico got to Fei's level. -_-;; ANNOYING! Ah well. I remember where I have to go (because I cheated and used a FAQ =^-^=;;) so I should be fine.

PS2 coming soon. My mom wants a DVD player in her room so I suggested getting me and Anna a PS2 since it plays games and DVDs and moving the one we already have to her room. The 'rents thought it was sensible and agreed. Yatta yatta~! XD *does a dance* First game I get when the PS2 comes: Suikoden III. It looks so bloody awesome! The three different storylines should be really interesting. Not to mention Hugo looks really cute. =^-~= Kelly's told me it's beautiful, and from what I hear from the reviews, it's the best-looking game other than FFX.

*bounces* I think I'll go play Xenogears now. Whee! I've also gotta figure out how this layout will work so that I won't accidentally break the tables in an especially long post ...
